Civic Programs

round logoHoosier Youth ChalleNGe Academy is a community based residential program for at-risk youth of Indiana between the ages of 16-19, who are struggling academically. For more information and to see if your child qualifies, please visit our website at www.ngycp.org/in.  Available for download are informational brochures on the Hoosier Youth ChalleNGe Academy, the national Youth Program, and the National Guard Youth Foundation. These are large files and may take a moment to download.

Stories concerning HYCA Cadets and activities in which they've participated include Mini Marathon 2008, December 2007 Graduating Class (1st),  Pre-ChalleNGe Phase 2007, and Pre-Challenge in 2008. Featured photos of Family and Mentor events, the HYCA Pre-ChalleNGe Phase, and many others are included in our rotating photo galleries on the home page, and on our archived photos page. The Retired Guardian Newsletter, Jan 2008, noted the graduation of the first cadet class in December 2007 (page 5), and showed additional photographs on page 14.

Indiana Guard Reserve - a service oriented community-based, military organization authorized by Indiana law as a supplement to the Indiana Army National Guard based at sixty-six Indiana Army National Guard Armories throughout the State of Indiana.

The 38th Division Band - The 38th Division band performs throughout the year and across the state. For information on booking the 38th Division band, contact the Department of Military Services at 317 247-3206.

The Coalition to Salute America's Heroes was created to provide a way for individuals, corporations and others to help our severely wounded and disabled Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom veterans and their families rebuild their lives.
